Me Time 03/01/2011

Originally dated Nov. 7, 2008, I think this journal entry is worth rewriting and posting. New or edited pieces are in red.

8:28 AM -- This is me time. I think that I should dedicate 30 minutes or more to myself every day. The easiest time would be in the morning. ....
I'd like to take myself out for breakfast as often as possible. That's what I'm doing right now, eating breakfast at McDonald's. If I can't afford a restaurant breakfast, I can take some Toaster Treats or a sandwichand go to a park or just sit outside my apartment.
Me time is when I'll write in my journal, write part of my fiction, or read something for enjoyment.
Me time is when I will think about what I want to accomplish and what steps I need to take for that goal.
Yesterday, I decided that I need to write every day. This is the main thing I need to do in order to get published.
Also, I want to learn meditation. I have been "wound tight" for a while now and need to relax. Perhaps with meditation, I can see beyond my troubles and anxiety. I'll look it up online.
..., time to go home now. I have to take my pills and shower before starting the rest of my day.

First, I want to tell you about a FREE writing workshop -- Storyarts ran by Paul Pekin. Not only is the six week course free, but there are no advertisements, no Java and no banners. Mr. Pekin wanted it to load quickly and not have any distractions. Check it out: http://449.patstoll.org/
